I found the Green Renaissance YouTube channel just a few weeks ago, and this is the first video on that channel that I viewed. When I returned to Canada from South Africa as a teen in 1977, I also had a yearning for a simple life, for a homesteading lifestyle somewhere on the edge of a Canadian wilderness. Reality never worked out that way, at least not completely. As Lindsay says, “Things are always going to happen. You accept them for what they are, and you learn to live around them, inside them, outside them, however it happens, you learn to live. Step forward.”
Beautiful videography, and videos that are full of hope and inspiration. Lots of wisdom and passion on this channel, featuring many people with a real depth of character. Check it out.
